For over 30 years, Dr. Pam Johnson has dedicated her career to helping families strengthen and lengthen the bond they share with their pets. From owning and leading an award-winning veterinary hospital to coaching pet parents worldwide, she’s seen firsthand, how knowledge transforms anxiety into confidence.
Her mission is simple:
To make pet healthcare clear, compassionate, and actionable — so you never feel alone in making decisions for your dog or cat.

Dr. Pam founded Pet Lovers United after decades of witnessing pet parents struggle with uncertainty, tough choices, and even isolation when it came to caring for their beloved animals.
Having built and led an award-winning veterinary hospital, she saw firsthand that clinical expertise alone wasn’t enough— pet parents also needed encouragement, guidance, and a trusted partner to lean on.
PLU was born from her promise that no pet parent should ever feel alone in making decisions about their pet’s health and happiness, and from her lifelong mission to strengthen and lengthen the human-animal bond.
Giving back
Dr. Pam serves on nonprofit boards and donates her time and expertise to causes that matter:
- Supporting teachers and her local community through Kipper Inc.
- Funding care for pets in need via Paisley Paws Foundation
- Championing education for children of injured service members through the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation
